The Standard for SEN Swimming Instruction
The Qualification
Developed with support from the Down’s Syndrome Association and National Autistic Society, this is the only national qualification designed specifically for teaching swimming to learners with Special Educational Needs.
What Makes It Different:
• Blended learning model: online theory + in-person practical assessment.
• Accessible nationwide: delivered through our UK-wide coaching network.
• Recognised by parents, swim schools, and leisure providers alike.
• Open-access: available to teachers from any awarding body. (Swim England, STA, etc.)
